Sinazongwe

Sinazongwe is a district in the Southern Province with the town of Sinazongwe as its capital. The main economic activities include kapenta fishing and agriculture. The town of Sinazongwe contains an airstrip as well as ferries, facilitating travel between Lake Kariba and South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. The district hosts multiple traditional ceremonies throughout the year which tourists are welcome to attend.
