Jinja
Jinja is a district located in the Busoga sub-region of the Eastern Region, Uganda. Nearby, Lake Victoria and the Source of the Nile are scenic tourist attractions, offering opportunities for fishing and water sports. The economy of the district is agriculture-based with a particular focus on the production of food crops including beans, groundnuts, sorghum, millet, cassava, and sweet potatoes. Coffee and cotton are the main cash crops produced in the area.
