Antigua and Barbuda host a minute number of non-governmental organisations. It benefits from additional regional funding due to its link with the Commonwealth of Nations and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). The European Commission (EC) partners the Ministry of Finance to aid development in human resources and the public-sector, whilst the Red Cross Society makes inhabitants aware of natural disasters.
