Find Corporate expertise in Bangladesh

Some of Bangladesh’s largest companies by sector are Biman Bangladesh Airlines (transport), Grameenphone (telecoms), Sonali Bank (banking and financial services – state-owned), Beximo (conglomerate) and Sadharan Bima Corporation (insurance – state-owned). The Dhaka Stock Exchange is the principal bourse in the country and most of its listings are financial services companies. Multinational companies (MNC) also have a presence within the country, though to a lesser extent than in other developing countries. This is largely a result of the debate over the degree to which MNCs should be allowed to contribute to the Bangladeshi economy. Notable examples of multinational companies in Bangladesh include British American Tobacco Bangladesh and Nestle.
