Virtually the country’s entire 1700km road network is paved. The Port of Bridgetown is a deep-water port with terminal facilities for cruise ships and yachts, and is managed by Barbados Port Inc. Grantley Adams International Airport is located 13km east of the capital, Bridgetown, and is the country’s main gateway airport to the rest of the world. There is no railway system in Barbados.
