Accommodation in Barbados

Visitors to Barbados have many lodging options to choose from, with available accommodation ranging from five-star international hotels to small guest houses and various self-catering villas and apartments. For the most part, camping is not permitted on the island. The west coast is generally considered the main tourist region, and most of the upper-end hotels can be found here, though the east coast also holds a fair share of smaller hotels. Aside from hotels, staying in guest houses or renting private accommodation for holiday purposes are the more popular options.
