Passports valid for six months beyond the intended length of stay required by all nationals. All travellers are required to show evidence of sufficient funds (minimum £50 per day) and proof of return or onward ticket at the point of entry. Visas are not required for Australian, British, Canadian, European or American visitors; citizens of other nations need to check with their relevant embassy. Most visas are issued by the following working day. Vaccinations against tuberculosis and hepatitis B are advised. Dengue fever is on the rise so mosquito protection is recommended. Belize is close to the equator so sunscreen is a must.
