Essentials in Cameroon

When visiting Cameroon foreign nationals need a visa to enter the country and passports used need to be valid passport for a minimum of six months on the date of arrival.
Recommended vaccinations include Hepatitis A and B, typhoid, yellow fever, polio, meningococcal diseases and rabies. There are regular outbreaks of cholera, particularly between December and June. HIV/AIDS is prevalent. All water should be regarded as being potentially contaminated. Water used for drinking, brushing teeth or making ice should have first been boiled or otherwise sterilised.
