Find Construction and Engineering expertise in Cyprus

Despite a long period of growth, Cyprus’ construction and engineering sector could not escape the effects of the global financial crisis. The sector’s output fell by over 10% during 2009 and over 2,000 people lost jobs in the sector during the same year. Residential construction projects dominate the sector and public-funded civil engineering projects, namely in transport and water supply, are also numerous. There are several professional bodies representing the interests of the sector. Prominent among these are the Federation of Building Contractors Association and the Cyprus Civil Engineers and Architects Association.
