The existence of large international publishers is almost non-existent in Cyprus. Power Publishing Ltd. is the country’s largest book publishing firm and it publishes a large variety of genres. Armida Publications is one of the country’s independent publishers which is a member of The Association of Cyprus Book Publishers and is a member of the Independent Publishers Guild (UK) which supports the company enabling them to get the most out of the industry. The Association of Cypriot (Cyprus) Book Publishers is the trade body representing the interests of publishers in the country. There are multiple universities in the country with more than 40,000 students from different countries around the world in North Cyprus alone, creating an applicable market for educational publishers.

Cyprint is also a well-established printer in Cyprus with strong historical connections to Limassol and Paphos. The company was established in 2000 as a joint venture by Hadjigeorgiou Printing and Litho Imca Ltd., two well-respected printing companies.
