Tourism in Dominica

Dominica is known as the Nature Island, and it is the epitome the Caribbean in its purest form. This is reflected in its subtle mixture of tropical rainforest, its abundance of rivers and waterfalls, the rugged volcanic landscape, its utmost remoteness and the surrounding Caribbean ocean blue — all untainted by excessive human development. This has leant the island to become an eco-tourism paradise, which alongside its many national parks, has allowed it to become an enclave of Caribbean romanticism — remonstrant of a by-gone age.
