The largest company by market capitalisation on the South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPSE) is Amalgamated Telecom Holdings (ATH), which at the end of 2010 accounted for 50% of the market’s value. The South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPSE) is currently the only securities exchange in Fiji. The five largest companies (including ATH) listed on the SPSE account for about 80% of its total value and the largest sectors are communications and manufacturing. These other four companies are: Foster’s Group Pacific, Flour Mills Fiji, RB Patel Group and Fijian Holdings Ltd. 

Large privately-owned companies include the conglomerate Carpenter Fiji Group and the state-owned Fiji Electrical Authority (FEA). The state is present in many of the major corporations in Fiji; in 2006 it had an ownership share in roughly 30 publicly listed corporations and private companies.
