Trade, investments and business is promoted by the Grenada Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GCIC). GCIC is the oldest and largest Private Sector organization in Grenada and has the responsibility of defending the rights of the business community, especially when dealing with problems between businesses and government bodies or other authorities. There are around 21 trade associations in Grenada, including Grenada Hotel and Tourism Association, Grenada Airport Taxi Association, Bus Drivers Association, Grenada Cocoa Association, Association of Grenada Insurance Companies, Grenada Crafters Guild, Association of Poultry Producers, Agricultural Business Association, and Grenada Medical Association.
