Find Trade Association expertise in Guyana

The Private Sector Commission is Guyana’s largest trade association. As an umbrella body of several Guyanese trade associations and chambers of commerce it aims to bring together the interests of private sector organs and business entities and promote socio-economic development through strategic partnerships with government and other stakeholders. Chambers of commerce can be found in Guyana’s major cities. They include the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Linden Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Berbice Chamber of Commerce (New Amsterdam). These organisations aim to promote the interests of business within their respective cities.There are several other trade associations found in Guyana, many of which are members of the Private Sector Commission. Examples include the Forest Product Association of Guyana, the Guyana Association of Bankers, the National Aquaculture Association of Guyana and the Guyana Gold and Diamond Miners Association.
