Transport in Malta

One can travel to Malta by air or sea, via Malta International Airport or one of Malta’s many ports. Ferries and hydrofoils run from the Sicilian ports of Catania and Pozzallo to Valletta, Marsaxlokk, and Mgarr. Valletta’s Grand Harbour has a large marina that accommodates those arriving by yacht. 

Journeying within Malta is straightforward – there is a good road network and hire cars are available at the Malta International Airport. Seaplanes and car ferries link the islands of Malta and Gozo.
