Currently, all student texts and resources are purchased abroad, imported and provided free of cost to students by the government. The Ministry of Education and Training, various NGOs and education-development organisations purchase and donate resources from large international educational publishers operating out of Australia and New Zealand, including Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press and Macmillan. As Nauru updates and reforms its education system and curriculum, the possibility for local production and printing services may emerge.
