Find Trade Union expertise in Pakistan

Trade unions in Pakistan represent almost one million workers, the majority of which are members of the umbrella union the Pakistan Workers’ Federation (PWF). In 2011, the PWF had around 900,000 members.  The three largest labour federations in Pakistan that form the PWF are: the All Pakistan Federation of United Trade Unions (APFUTU), the All Pakistan Federation of Labour (AFL) and the General Federation of Trade Unions (GTFU).

The Industrial Relations Ordinance (2002) legislates the formation and regulation of trade unions.
