Bilateral and Multilateral Co-operation
Papua New Guinea has strong bilateral relationships with Australia expressed through Australia’s Overseas Aid Programme (AusAid), which has supported numerous developmental projects in Papua New Guinea over the years. It is a member of many international groupings, including the Commonwealth and the United Nations (UN) and its specialised agencies.
