Find Transport expertise in Rwanda

The primary transport system in Rwanda is its road network of more than 14,000 km, which connects Kigali with the major cities and towns in the five provinces and the surrounding East African countries where most of the country’s imports are generated (2008). There is no rail network, although the government is in the process of planning a connecting railway from Rwanda to the Tanzanian port of Dar es Salaam to provide a direct link to international transit routes (2009).
