The major trade association in the country is the Samoa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is an association of businesses, corporations, industry associations and business people representing the private sector. It provides services to its members including business mentoring, lobbying, assistance in funding applications, and even the setting up of websites. The Chamber seeks to maintain a close working relationship with Government in many matters including the formulation of economic policies.
