Find National NGO expertise in Singapore
Singapore has hundreds of NGOs involved in a wide range of sectors, ranging from social and cultural organisations to economic ones. One such example is the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations, which acts as an umbrella organisation for the many related NGOs and promotes the role of women in all aspects of society. Another is the Singapore Environmental Council, which promotes environmental awareness and co-ordinates green activities across the country. Non-profit NGOs within Singapore must be set up as a society with the Registry of Societies, or a company guaranteed with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).
