Accommodation in Solomon Islands

There is a wide range of accommodation possibilities in the Solomon Islands, from luxury hotels to youth hostels and village stays, however the options diminish as you move away from main cities and the larger islands. Outside of Honiara, Malaita, the Reef Islands and Western Solomons accommodation is less assured, contact the Solomon Island Visitor’s Bureau or the Ministry of Commerce, Employment and Tourism for options and availability. Camping is possible but should be confined to remote areas and permission should be obtained from the landowner.
