There are a number of large companies which originated in St Kitts and Nevis. The St Kitts Nevis Anguilla Trading and Development Company Limited is a large corporation comprising a group of companies which span many sectors including finance, rental and hire purchase, insurance and reinsurance, hotel operations and shipping. Among the multinational affiliates operating in St Kitts and Nevis are Barclays, PWC and Toyota. St Kitts and Nevis is a member of the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange (ECSE) which is a regional securities market established by the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank. Of the 25 or so public companies listed in the ECSE the majority, around seven, are Kittitian Nevisian in origin.
