Education NGOs and CSOs in St Vincent and The Grenadines

There are a few non-governmental organisations and civil society organisations working in the education sector. St Vincent and the Grenadines has a Teacher’s Union which is part of the Caribbean Union of Teachers. This umbrella organisation provides leadership, public speaking, action plan, critical skills and financial viability workshops for members. The Sustainable Grenadines Project is committed to costal and marine environment and sustainable livelihoods for the people of the Grenadines. Civil Society partners and non-governmental organisations aid education by providing textbooks, running after school clubs and providing lectures about green schools. The St Vincent and the Grenadines Government give financial support to the Adult Education Unit (AEU) and other Non-governmental Organisations (NGOs) for non-formal education.
