Agriculture, forestry and fisheries contribute 11% of Swaziland’s GDP (2007). Forest covers 32% of the total land area (2005), and forested area grew by 1% per annum between 1990 and 2005. There is a significant commercial forestry industry, with a pulp mill operated by the Usutu Pulp Company at Bhunya. The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives is responsible for forestry.
