Mining, energy, tourism, ICTs and agriculture are the major recipients of investment promotion in Uganda. The Uganda Investment Authority is the principal investment promotion agency. It acts as a one stop shop for information on market trends, sectoral reports and business opportunities. Other organisations aimed at promoting investment and economic development include the Uganda Tourism Board, the Uganda Export Promotion Board and the Uganda Coffee Development Authority.
