President
The President of Uganda is the head of state, head of government and commander-in-chief of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces. The president is directly elected for a five-year term by universal adult suffrage, and there is no limit to the number of terms that can be served. The president is responsible for appointing the vice-president, the prime minister and the ministers.
