Research and Consultancy in United Republic of Tanzania
Priority research objectives include enhancing agricultural productivity and ensuring national food security. The University of Dar es Salaam undertakes more than 100 contracted research projects each year; for government, international agencies and private sector. Research areas include engineering, the environment, management/public administration, politics, socio-economic issues and science/technology. The Tanzania Public Service College undertakes consultancy assignments, mainly in human resources in the public sector.
