The Zambia Development Agency was established in 2006 to promote economic growth and development by encouraging foreign direct investment, by promoting exports, and by facilitating and supporting small and medium enterprises. Other economic development agencies include the Export Board of Zambia, the Women Entrepreneurs in Industry and Business, and the Youth Entrepreneurs Association of Zambia.
