National Agencies

There are several autonomous government agencies provided for in the constitution or by law, including the Zambia Communications Authority, which is the regulator for the Zambian telecommunications industry; the Electoral Commission of Zambia, which is the administrator of general and local government elections; the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), which is mandated to fight corruption; and the National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA), which is the largest pension fund in Zambia. The Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority (TEVETA) regulates technical education, vocational and entrepreneurship training in consultation with industry, employers, workers and other stakeholders.
