Moqhaka Local Municipality

Moqhaka is a local municipality in the Fezile Dabi district, Free State province. Its main towns and cities are Kroonstad, Renovaal, Steynsrus, Vierfontein and Viljoenskroon. Kroonstad, the seat of local government, is a centre for education and administration in Free State, although its main industry is agriculture. Leisure opportunities such as lion interaction at the Boskoppie Lion and Tiger Park, fishing at Bloemhoek Dam or Vals River, golf and sailing, as well as road access to Bloemfontein and Johannesburg, make Kroonstad an attractive tourist destination.
