Nakaseke

Nakaseke District is located in the Central Region of Uganda with the town of Nakaseke as its capital. The main economic activity in the district is farming, which involves: fishing in swamps; the rearing of cattle, goats and poultry; and the production of crops such as coffee, maize, beans, bananas, cassava, pineapples and mangoes. The majority of local farmers utilise traditional methods of farming and market their produce in Kampala.
