Bulambuli

Bulambuli District, named for its chief town, is located in the Eastern Region of Uganda. Prior to 2010, the district was part of Sironko District. The mountainous southern area of the district is prone to flash floods, while the northern is dry and experiences shortages of clean water. Subsistence agriculture and animal rearing are the backbone of the local economy, with main crops including cassava, rice, groundnuts, matooke, sorghum and millet.
