The Lesotho Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the leading national business promotion body, particularly for small and medium enterprises. Since 2006 it has been supported by Canadian International Development Research Centre in developing a computer-based trade information system for collecting, processing, storing, retrieving and disseminating market information. The Ministry of Trade, Industry, Cooperatives and Marketing is responsible for business policy.
