Nigeria is a member of the Commonwealth, the United Nations and many of its specialised and related agencies, the World Trade Organization, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank/IBRD, the African Development Bank, INTERPOL, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, the Economic Community of West African States, the African Union, the Maritime Organisation of West and Central Africa, the Non-Aligned Movement, UNESCO, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and the Organisation of the Islamic Conference.
