Find Economic Development expertise in Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea’s Investment Promotion Authority was established by an Act of Parliament in 1992 to implement the promotion of industrial development in the country and the broader promotion of all the country’s viable investment opportunities. The authority collaborates with various business and other economic development agencies situated both locally and abroad, such as the Business Council of Papua New Guinea and the Australian Trade Commission (AUSTRADE). A key focus has been the expansion of export-trade and attracting foreign investors in an effort to stimulate job creation in some of the rural areas.
