There are a number of large companies in Saint Lucia which have their origins there. The Bank of Saint Lucia is the country’s leading banking institution, which also has interests in property holding and development, as well as global investment. Among many multinational affiliates operating in Saint Lucia are Barclays, Clico International Life Insurance Ltd and M&C Group.

Saint Lucia is a member of the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange (ECSE) which is a regional securities market established by the Eastern Carribean Central Bank. Of the 25 or so public companies listed in the ECSE around four of them are Saint Lucian in origin, including the Saint Lucia Electricity Services company and Windward & Leeward Breweries Ltd.
