Transport in Zambia
The major tourist carrier is Airwaves Zambia; smaller air charter companies also fly to many airstrips around the country. Long-distance buses connect Lusaka to all the main towns. Minibuses and taxis can be hailed at almost any juncture. Local ferries operate on all waterways. Visitors can hire a car or a chauffeur driven vehicle from several car hire companies. Traffic drives on the left and an international driving permit is required. All the main national parks are accessible by car and plane.
