Hon. Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala
Hon. Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was appointed in July 2011 as the Minister of Finance for the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Prior to this appointment, she was Managing Director at the World Bank from 2007 to 2011 and has also had held the position of a Minister of Finance before and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria, between 2003 and 2006. She is notable for being the first woman to hold either of these positions. She holds a PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is an AB graduate of Harvard University.
