Governor-General

The governor-general of The Bahamas is the official representative of Queen Elizabeth II. The governor-general thus officiates state and government functions as the de facto head of state. The governor-general is appointed on the advice of The Bahamas Cabinet. The office of the governor-general is located in Nassau.
