Prime Minister

The Prime Minister of Bangladesh holds executive powers within the country. The prime minister, as head of government, heads a council of ministers whose advice is necessary for all presidential acts. The prime minister is the member of parliament who appears to command the support of the majority of the members of parliament. If the prime minister ceases to retain the support of the majority of the members of parliament, the office should be resigned or the president should be advised. If the president is satisfied that no other member of parliament commands the support of the majority of the members of parliament, parliament is then dissolved.
