Find Construction and Engineering expertise in Cameroon

Construction accounts for 3.5% of Cameroon’s GDP (2008). The country’s petroleum industry is important for the growth of the construction and engineering sector. International donors contribute to the development of country’s road and rail infrastructure. A lack of infrastructure overall however has adversely affected the sector’s growth. Players in the industry include subsidiaries of foreign groups (Asquini-Encorad, KOOP Cameroun and Razel SA) and local companies (Bati Service, Buns, Cacoco BTP and Scemar). The Cameroon Society of Engineers is the leading sector body for engineering. There is no central body for the construction industry.
