Find Economic Development expertise in Fiji
The Fiji Islands Trade and Investment Bureau (FTIB) promotes foreign investment and economic development in the country. The agency seeks to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) into the country and develop new export markets for Fijian businesses. Helped by the agency’s efforts, Fiji attracted roughly $55 million of FDI in 2009. Alongside this, the Fiji Development Bank provides various services for businesses, such as helping companies set up or expand their operations and providing loans for small and medium-sized businesses. Other economic development agencies include the Reserve Bank of Fiji, the Fiji Visitors Bureau and the Trade Standards and Quality Control Office.
