Standards and Regulation in Fiji

All the main economic activities of Fiji are subject to regulation and have a relevant organisation to oversee their activities. Examples of these organisations include: the Reserve Bank of Fiji, the Telecommunications Authority of Fiji, the Mineral Resources Department and the Consumer Council of Fiji. The World Bank listed Fiji as 10th in East Asia and the Pacific on their Doing Business Index. Fiji is part of the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) and the Fiji Trade Standards and Quality Control Office (FTSQCO) is the domestic standards authority.
