The country offers plenty of other adventure sporting activities including sky-diving, gorge swinging, surfing, rock climbing, and white water rafting.

There are also numerous activities for the more casual tourist including wildlife viewing, (New Zealand is famous for its birds and marine mammals) shopping, fishing and golfing.
