Government Agencies in St Vincent and The Grenadines

The Ministry of Education is responsible for the education system; overseeing planning, execution and monitoring of the education system. They have also provided training in school supervision for professionals. This additional training was funded by UNESCO, which also provided assisting officers who will be responsible for taking the sector forward under the next phase of the Education Sector Development Plan (ESDP). The Ministry of Education has divided into around eight departments; these include administration, adult education, projects and the school feeding programme. Another key education agency is National Investment Promotions Inc.
