Standards and Regulation in Sierra Leone
The Ministry of Trade and Industry supervises the Sierra Leone Standards Bureau (SLSB) and seeks to ensure an increased compliance with international standards. Some of the key regulators in the country include the Radiation Protection Board Secretariat, the sole regulatory authority for radioactivity in the country, the Bank of Sierra Leone (BSL), and the National Public Procurement Authority (NPPA). Sierra Leone is a member of the International Organization for Standardization.
