Accommodation in Dominica

Most hotels in Dominica are small to medium, and offer accommodation according to a number of ‘Plans’ widely used in the Caribbean region, including a Modified American Plan (MAP; room, breakfast and dinner) or a European Plan (EP; room only). A 10% government room tax is added to all hotel bills. Besides hotels, a variety of bed and breakfast establishments are available, which are subject to a 5% government tax and 10% service charge. There are also locally run camping sites; hostels; and self-serviced apartments.
