Grenada has a road network of approximately 1,127km, 61 per cent of which is paved. The condition of the roads is generally good, although in mountainous areas roads tend to be narrow and winding. There are three main ports in Grenada; these are St George’s deep-water port, which offers anchorage and facilities for yachts; Prickly Bay, on the south-east coast; and Secret Harbour, south of St Georges. In addition water taxis can be used to get from St George’s to the Grand Anse Beach. The Point Salines International Airport is Grenada’s main airport and there is also a small airport at Lauriston on Carriacou.
