Tourism in Malta
Situated in the heart of the Mediterranean, Malta boasts an eclectic mix of cultures, from its Sicilian cuisine to the Arabic influences of its language. The different rulers of the island have all left their imprint, ranging from the megalithic temples at Ggantija, to the Grand Master’s Palace of the Knights of St John.
Malta offers more than just its extraordinary range of architecture, however. One can take a cruise, as well as sail and scuba dive in the many coves and bays around the island. And if the architecture and beaches are not to your tastes, the many bars and restaurants of Valletta should satisfy your appetite.
